Seems strange, when we play Fev at their place it's always on Sunday, but the last few seasons when we are at home we are made to play on Thursday. Guess what? it costs our club a fortune in lost gate money

You're not the only one thinking that way old boy !!! It's a bag o balls for we shift workers AND it's during the local holiday period again. Well, a well known ex Fax coach has just posted something on the Fev Rovers FB page relating to a money issue so maybe they're not so flush anyway




Big shame I can't make yet another home game and a drink with my Fev buddies but i'm sure the lads will manage without me showing 'em how to sup as usual, maybe we'll get the chance in the GF at Leigh he thinks optimistically.....

Wonderful. Fax's biggest game of the season ruined - with a 30 x £10 subscription "reward".

Wish they'd rush through the changes in the game because this league is being strangled by crap deals like this.

Question: Why do Championship chairmen put up with crap deals like this? Why do they allow this to happen??????

This constant short-notice playing around with dates is bound to affect season ticket sales. Folk are bound to think - happen I won't be able to get to all these games.

That is exactly what stopped me buying season tickets for me and mine when the Thursday screening started a few years ago, I just can't get to the games and by the numbers that turn up i'm clearly not the only one.

Someone from the RFL must wake up to the fact that the clubs need all the revenue they can get and the effects of any TV deals must be thought through.

Is there anything the clubs can do to stop this happening should they so wish to do so or is it forced upon them.
