| 16 of us coming over to Headingley from 'Ull in a mini-bus for the first game of the season.
Expected to arrive over your way approx 3-30pm so we have a good four hours on the swally before the game (8pm KO).
Looking for you hardened boozers to give us a good pub crawl guide b'cos we are going for it.
Which boozer would be a good drop-off point for us?
Furthest away from ground (but not miles, we have some fat boys).
Then a pub name roll-call working our way into Headingley. (on foot).
Help appreciated.
Would imagine van will pick us up at Taps after game if that isn't a problem?

| the easy and obvious choice within your parameters would be to start at Woodies and work your way down Otley Road. Woodies, New Inn, I can't remember, Original oak, Skyrack, Taps, etc etc could all be fit in.

Ish. The pubs are all close enough together so there isn't really much walking involved.

One mile tops, students do it so it can't be that far - don't forget Arcadia in the Arndale Centre for some decent ale either, in fact, start and finish at Arcadia, all that time spent walking between pubs is no good for you.

The short interlude between establishments will do some of them good.

If you've got people who genuinely appreciate their beer and don't mind paying that little bit extra for something artisan and a bit different, I'd second that choice.
They do some lovely pizzas as well in Arcadia.
If you're just after getting as drunk as possible as cheaply as possible, give it a miss and stick to the ones mentioned earlier in the thread.

It'll be a full on, pour as many down as we can job.
Don't think there'll be time for pizza.
Just don't want driver parking up at ground and then having to work our way out to work our way back again.

| As people have previously mentioned - start off at woodies and work you way back to the stadium. It's seriously not too far at all and plenty of pubs on the way.
If you run out of pubs to go to then you can always cap off with some tinnies from one of the many offys on the Headingley high street
Just don't walk near the stadium with alcohol in your hands though
