On Monday night (morning UK time) ABC1 is showing a documentary exposing the bad behaviour of NRL players.
I think they could be opening a real can of worms here. Will we see a reversal of history as Australia starts exporting (more of) its convicts to the UK?
They have an equivalent to the BBC iPlayer so it should be viewable from here as well.

Oh yes, anyone with any type of criminal record or unresolved prosecution will almost certainly be refused entry clearance for settlement type (including work) visas. |

Not quite. They will have a 'visit' type visa for 'visiting sportsmen'. That said for "visits" of less than 6 months Australians and New Zealanders do not need a visa to enter the UK. An Immigration Officer can refuse entry on arrival if they consider the individual to be an 'undesirable'. |
