| what can you say after a display like that?
If he had taken the Lomax pass we would have right back in it.Just summed up his performance
Please don't give him a new contract McManus

| Don't blame just him for missing an opportunity. He gave a lovely ball to Magennis I think, but he just dropped it! Could have right back in it then!

| Not Meli's best game but he also got some shocking service, giving a winger the ball when he has literally nowhere to go other than touch is plain stupid. Wigan's sliding defenc delat with most things tonight because we played off the backfoot behind a beaten pack and had a lack of dummy runners at times to draw in defenders and create space out wide. Simple Rugby and certainly not Meli's fault.

| Lets single out backs and ignore the fact that for most of the game our much vaunted pack was well beaten.

| He had a poor game, but come on. He's been one of our top performers in the centre this season. Nothing went right for us tonight and we were all poor (apart from Wilkin) so to single one player out is ridiculous.

| Playing centre is alot different than playing on the wing! Put him Back on the wing and he'll do a job for you !

Meli was at the centre of most poor things Saints did tonight

The key word, being tonight. The majority of the season he has been at the centre of most good things and has been our main strike player. He had a bad game, simple as that. It happens, but this season his good performance have far outweighed his bad. Having to shift positions won't have helped, he had a couple of chances but made mistakes. Usually he would have took them, but nothing stuck for us tonight.

| Before Meli even got involved in the game, we where on the back foot. Sorry but we lost it in the forwards, Meli had a shocker sure, But Wellens was not amazing, Makinson was outclassed by Richards. If you listen to Royce and Clarke it just about sums up the game, from us there was too much turn over of the ball. Giving field position. From Wigan they just ran and ran hard, which kept us in our own half for long periods. We could not get any head way.

| Our retention in the first half was 60% and in the second 43%. We blew five try scoring opportunities, three of them with the line begging. Our forwards were absolute tosh and no-one defended, except Wilkin. That's not why we lost - we could have played brilliantly and still lost. But we were s h i t e nontheless.
