Team from a league above, at home, with basically twice as much money to spend on players, win a game?
And you seem delighted about that?
If anything, it merely goes to show that the middle 8's are just there to placate the Championship clubs who have been denied promotion through franchising.
It is not a level playing field.

| They don't have twice as much money though. Including the parachute payment, Bulls got almost the full allocation of SL money this year.

Do you know what the respective salary caps are and how each club is spending them? As far as I am aware we are spending most of ours but I don't know the exact allowance compared with Wakeys and their subsequent spending.

Can you run your calculations by me, because I haven't a clue how you've got to that conclusion.

It has been a while. We need time to learn how to spend the cap again.

I presume you mean that they got all their entitlement rather than it being given to the other clubs like last year. There was no parachute money as such. The amout was based on finishing position last year and it was much less than SL clubs but much more than many Championship clubs.

| I think you are mixing up Wakefield being allowed to spend to the Super League limit and Wakefield actually having money.

| They've had enough money to pay off several players contracts in full (about 3months worth) and then sign several players extra for those 3 months.
With the increased central funding next year in sl, definitely worth speculating though

Unless people are lying you had a spare 80k to throw into a kitty at the start of the year. If you're not spending the cap and had left over cash is be asking Carter what he's doing. Seen as you've bought tickets to spend the season as a laughing stock before beating teams from the division below.

Perhaps if you'd gone and supported the team you allegedly support you'd have got a glimpse of the team we bought the ST to watch in the first place. No doubt your fans will be watching your full time side including ex superdooper league and NRL players what can't live with proper superdooper league teams hammer the part timers again next season with a bit of luck that is, instead of worrying about our finances you'd be better of worrying about yours and buy some decent players, keep your chin up old boy.
