Just read in the MEN that they haven't even started preparing the ground, this will now happen in spring 2010 making a 2010 opening unlikely.

With one eye on the 2012 licences does anyone know how this progress compares to Cas, Wakey?

Cas have started groundworks, appointed an architect got outline planning permission and ready to apply for full planning permission and there's been plenty of diggers on the site this week day & night. 2011/2012 that should be ready.

So Salford are behind Cas & Saints and Wakey are catching them up quickly...and they started what 4 years ago now at Salford?

They'll steal anything these days for a "joyride"

I'm sceptical that any of them will actually happen. I won't believe the Saints one is happening until I see it for myself.

Saints and Cas ones are serious IMO but Salford and Wakey will soon fall through after the next franchise application.

I hope they are all serious though, I really want to see super league being played in quality stadiums at least as good as LSV and getting big crowds.
