Arrogance, smugness and disrespect shown to other clubs and people from various parts of the Leigh club not just their ridiculous owner.

Typical 'modern day mentality' my friend, judging clubs or even people by what they decide to type on their keyboard. So Leigh might have maybe 15 (just a random figure) cocky keyboard warriors, so that is the reason we get riduculous topics like this....and then other folk decide to add their intellectual comments also. Our owner is outspoken yes, but if he was in charge of a team near the bottom of championship one, doubt they/he would ever be commented here on the virtual terrace. Leigh 'are a threat' like Bradford/London/Halifax/Sheffield/Fev etc are, to a Super League club losing their place, or a fellow championship club not making the 'middle 8's'. That is also part of the reason we are discussed on here a lot, and we have spent 'much more cash' than other championship clubs, oh and also our disciplinary is pretty awful (allegedly). Hopefully it will all calm down, but the reaction to us losing at Batley, was as if Thatto Heath had beaten St. Helens !

i don't dislike Leigh, i think a few Leigh fans, players, and officials rubbed people up the wrong way with their blustery bold boasting about how good they were and how they would storm to super league and then how they would batter all comers because they had more money and better players than everyone else etc.
made worse by the cup run, when most neutrals were actually fully supportive and behind Leigh, all that goodwill soon disappeared when the cockiness started
obviously Leigh's spectacular collapse in the 8's meant that the nose rubbing came back to haunt them.

I like Leigh RLFC. A few peckerhead supporters haven't changed my opinion of them.

I don't understand how people decide they dislike an entire club based on a minority of idiots. In the case of Leigh, I think Beaumont come out with a load of crap on a regular basis, a minority of their fans are arrogant and disrespectful. That makes me dislike Beaumont and a few of their fans not the entire club, it's players and supporters. All clubs have individuals associated with them who I think are idiots but I'm sensible enough not to stereotype the whole club because of it.
