Why was Atkins try disallowed?

I was very impressed with Atkins' spped for the disallowed try. The chasing Wakefield players, like most in the ground didn't seem to know that play had stopped and were giving it their all to catch him.

It's a shame it wasn't allowed but i hope to see a few more of them.

Perfect example of our "knock on" thread this week. From what i could see, he challenged for a high kick, made contact, knocked the ball forward over the head of the Wakey player, and regathered well, then went the full length of the field only to be brought back. Technically correct, but very pedantic.

i'd sat after tonight atkins, however myler has a fair bit of speeed behind then chicken legs!

Riley easily the quickest. Atkins is very quick too, but on the break Riley was in support and trying not to over-take him.

Was very impressed with atkins last night, in fact the whole three quarter set up was very effective

over a shorter distance Riley, Atkins has got a more athletic and powerful running style and i think he would just pip riley over 100m.
