To be fair they have given 3 months notice and it looks like Salford have requested the change so its out of the clubs hands.

Salford requested it because their next game is the following thursday.So are they going to complain when the easter fixtures come around, Rfl rules stipulate players should get a 5 day rest when possible.

Salford player welfare to be considered fair enough, but we have Wakefield home April 12th then Wigan away Thursday 16th, will the Wakefield fixture be changed because of the five day turnaround rule? The other Sunday games seem secure, as Karetaker says let's ignore Easter.

Plenty of notice, United are away I think at West Ham that weekend and I might have to have a beer or two to celebrate a happy new season. As you say "Ave It"

Thank God this change is not SKY's fault. Otherwise there would have been a proper moan on this site. Mind you it's a shame ... I prefer Sundays.

I quite enjoy the fixture changes, just to see how much it p*sses people off. It's nearly three months away, I'm sure most of us don't have something planned for that day that can't be changed.

Saturday afternoon kick off sounds good to me, few scoops in town before/after. Make a proper day of it.

I suppose it's ok when you have a job / lifestyle where it enables you to attend the game whenever it is. Not everyone is that lucky, some don't live in the town others do shift work.
I sympathise with those who can't make it, as a Wire fan I want as many fans as possible to be in the stadium supporting the team.
I certainly don't enjoy seeing how much it p#sses people off.
