| Been released by NZ Warriors to return to Super League, would make a fine full back allowing someone to move to stand off?

| You would have thought he was nailed on for a return to the DW, would be nice if we could sway him, but Wane will have already done the job.

| I don't think he would need much persuading. I think the only factor would be cap space and I suspect Wigan are plenty under.
What will become of Bowen?

| Feel sorry for Ryan Hampshire. Deposed Bowen as first choice full back, now no matter what he does this year, he won't get a look in with Tomkins going back there.
So would this constitute a "failure" then? Massive transfer fee and nothing to show for it. Would that put him alongside such luminaries as Chris Thorman, Lee Mossop and Jordan Tansey?
Good coup for SL having him back though; bet Hemmings is cracking one off already having heard this news. And the Warriors can easily replace him with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.

Well he plays in the halves for England, so maybe he actually *is* what we need.....

| How does first refusal work? Does Tomkins not a have a say in where he goes if Wigan want him back? Can he not shop around? (Like he's going anywhere other than Wigan anyway!)

| I can't imagine he will be going anywhere other than Wigan. I would take him at wire in a heartbeat though.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is a star of the future, signed a three-year deal believed to be upwards of $800,000 per season!
