We've every chance. Get some bodies back for the semi and we've got a sniff. We're never gonna blow teams away like we used to but we've shown in the two leeds meetings what we can do and saints looked pretty rubbish today. I wouldn't put money on us but I wouldn't write us off either.

Jack Hughes? I'm hearing Wire are very keen on him since Laithwaite has become a possible long term out.

Is he on loan at Huddersfield for the season? not sure Wigan would agree, we should have a few back come four weeks or so, but meanwhile we could do with a helping hand.

Laithwaite is far from certain to be right for early next season. Wouldn't he also need time out in the lower leagues to become match right following his recovery?

When people say 'get some bodies back' for the semi, who are these bodies? Grix and the Evans boys seem to be light years away, Laithwaite is now gone I'd imagine.
