I hadn't really noticed until it has been raised on this forum a few times this season but more and more at games I'm amazed at how few of our fans would seem to understand certain rules! Against Widnes I felt a bit embarrassed a few times when we got on the referee's back for absolutely blatant penalties. Can't remember the game but recently Grix got a load of abuse for showing some initiative and invention when some fans seemed clueless it was a free play.

See my post in the game thread, does my head in, even when he gave a penalty against Widnes for us they were on his back as soon as they heard the whistle, it's such a natural thing for em they didn't even realise it was for us !..
The free play one always makes me laugh as there is always some screeching at the Ref when if they knew the rules they would know he's calling the play back in OUR favour !!

Grix is one of the best at getting booed on a free play.. The more adventurous the play the louder the boos'
It's happened on more than one occasion haha. It's embarrassing.

If Brough try's something in normal play we are on our feet cheering. If it doesn't come off there's a clap of admiration.
