Scheduled for Sun 19th April but Sky have just announced that Latics are playing United at 1.30pm that day.

Will the game be allowed for the Friday night? Or will it be shifted to the Monday.

Or should the the home and away fixtures against Celtic just be switched around????? I know some may have already made plans for Bridgend?

I hope it will be a case of a Friday night game as like others I have payed out for hotels.

Reported on the Pathetics site that their game with Man Utd has been selected for TV on April 19th , same day as our home game vs Celtic.

However, if Man U get through to the FA cup semi then the wont play.

Leaves us hanging on again.

We truly know our place in the pecking order

Using Whelans theory then surely Latics should play United at an alternative venue. Our fixture was in place first. He wouldn't move for us so we shouldn't move for him.

Has he the power to enforce our fixture being changed???? That is already in place?? Its exactly the same scenario as the Bradford playoff tie, only its the opposite way around.

Sign of the times i'm afraid. Rewind 20 years back - can you ever imagine a situation like today? Athletic's bitches and Castleford hand you a defeat at your "own home". It's inconceivable, it really is.
