I'm not having a moan at all Wigan fans, the DW is always a good place to go and we have friends who are Wigan fans.

I was taking a leak at the time otherwise I would have vented my anger at him.

It's just silly behaviour, the person who did it probably has little knowledge of Rugby League. Unfortunately all the clubs have idiots like this.

Absolutely fair enough, and I will at least apologise to you and your daughter on behalf of the vast majority of Wigan fans who find that behaviour despicable.

I've seen a few clowns calling themselves Wigan fans trying to kick off with visitors outside the ground once or twice - there will always be a few morons among 15,000 - but EVERY time I've also seen real Wigan fans having a go at them and telling them to cut it out.

I used to sit near the North Stand and most games there are a few 'hard nuts' (normally the pale & skinny chav type) baiting Wigan fans with abuse, gestures, 'come-ons', etc. Generally they are ignored. Every team has them (some more than most, granted), it's up to the rest of us to shout them down and put them to shame.
