Well reading all that it seems Mr Khan has paid £150K for the club now with £100K to come so that will have gone/will go to to the administrators. I don't know what other assets there are if any that could add to the "pot" but once the administrators have taken their cut it doesn't look like there will be much left to pay anyone anything but isn't that how administration works?
The administrator has to do the best they can for the creditors and if that is all they got it makes you wonder how they have the cheek to charge so much (average of £205 per hour for their staff according to that the paper).
What about the ground? I thought the RFL owned that. If Bradford (as was) sold it to the RFL and the RFL give it to the "new Bradford" it won't have been an asset the administrators could sell to raise cash to pay creditors. I have not been following the ins and outs in detail but the fact the ground got removed from the equation seems highly dodgy to me.
The paper also says there is round of mini-licensing is going to occur to see if Bradford or a championship side are the 14th SL team. That seems fair enough but I don't really have much faith in the the RFL being able to tell a load of flannel about the future prospects of Bradford (or anyone else) from a genuinely well thought out business plan.

| I haven't got time to read into the details but on the face of it the answer is no.
They should start in a lower league, like any NEW club.
If they are the OLD club then the creditors should get paid.
Do I believe the RFL will follow this approach? No.

I have no axe to grind with Bradford, but i agree with Brett. If you don't agree, what was/is the point of a cap which is there to "protect" against mismanagement/overspending. If you believe in the cap, Bradford, if reformed as a new club have to go. Indeed, if they stay as the old club they should be punished severly, and demoted, even if we have a club less in SL next season.
Just pause and imagine if it was Wigan in this position, other clubs fans would be SCREAMING for us to be demoted. Clubs and the RFL know better...

| I don't think should will come into it, given the RFL's track record with clubs going into administration I fully expect that Bradford will be in SL next year (rightly or wrongly).

Think if you got your facts right it was the member clubs of the SPL who voted rangers into the third division, it wasnt the scottish FA and I think you will find most of the chairmen in superleague want us in! So there is no difference if the RFL leave the decision to the clubs

| At the end of the day, what is the alternative?
Halifax? They would be considerably weaker than the Bulls, with lower crowds, and it's YET another West Yorkshire club.
Leigh? Again, on the field they are pretty weak. Nowhere near ready for SL. Off the field they have been rumoured to have financial difficulties in recent years. Crowds will be low, although we may benefit in our home game.
I would keep the Bulls in during this licence period and then re-assess in few years.

That's because that league was filled with bitterness and hate for that particular team so gave them the worst treatment they could dish out. Bradford should be kept in the SL and should not be punished because of how badly they've been run financially.

| I have given this a bit of thought and must say I DON’T KNOW. My heart says one thing, and my head says another. Justice and what’s good for the game, but is it? We all can push are chests out and say, “chuck them out, they deserve it” but do the fans? Is SL better off. It’s a big call, and a bit simplistic just to say “out”. What if it was us? No fat talk please. BE HONEST!

So where do you stand on the cap? Does it have any relevance?
