Does anybody actually want Leeds to finish down the league? I hope they can squeeze into the super 8s because let's be honest if Leeds have to play the championship clubs it will become a non event and would make a mockery of what it is designed to do. I bet not one championship club wants them in there otherwise we can look forward to the same clubs in Sl again next year. I would like to see 2 or 3 come up and shake things up a bit.

I don't want to see them in the super 8's.
We play them twice in a couple of week's and i'm not that confident. However if we can defeat them in at least one of our games I struggle to see them getting into the Top 8.

If they finish in the middle 8's then that's only of the 4 "promotion" spots taken. It's not as though Leeds being there will completely ruin the whole concept and take away any chance of Championship sides being successful.

I do, it would be a nice payday for the Championship sides, and I bet Bradford would give them a good run for their money! Having said that, judging by last year's standings Leeds would need to win 7 out of their last 10 to make 8th place. Considering they play us (twice), Wire and Catalans in that time amongst others it would be good for the neutral to see them pull off a great escape.

Let them stay there, they have earned the place. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get a loss or two in that group, I'm not sure why people are worries that' it would make a mockery - Salford have more chance or making a mockery there as it's not ability that has them in the same group.

Yep, i completely agree and understand both sides of the coin here. I too could also see Leeds lose 2 or 3 of those games, Salford are no mugs and if Huddersfield end up down there then they could even find themselves in the million pound game. I had honestly forgotten about Salford's point deduction. It just seems like the gulf between SL and the Championship is widening making it extremely difficult for a promotion. I don't think the Leigh fans would be too happy with the calibre of side they might have to face, although they are the best side in the world so it doesn't really matter. If they fail to go up this time i see bad things happening for the gobblers.

Weirdly there seems to have been a lack of their usual suspects on here these past few months.

They'll make the Top 8 with a game to spare.
Hopefully though, they'll be too far off the pace to challenge for the top 4.
