lets hope we draw Halifax in the next round

I’m not sure how the CCup draw works anymore - at one point SL teams were guaranteed a lower division club in the first game, has that altered or did I just dream it.

Next round is an open draw , we can draw anyone..

That changed a few seasons back.
The bottom 4 SL clubs from last season enter the draw in the current round, with the rest coming in the next one.
One victory at that stage gets you into the quarter finals and 3 wins gets you to Wembley.

Personally, I think everything is stacked far too much in favour of the top 8 SL clubs and much of the romance of the cup is long gone or, at least we thought it had - Halifax and Leigh seemed to go a fair way to disprove that last night though but, realistically, unless there is a series of bizarre cup draws, the final will still be played between 2 clubs from the top half of SL.
One day, even Wakefield may be there

There will be 5 non Super League clubs in the next round so hopefully we'll get one of them and the other 4 get each other. We then draw another one in the QF. THe remaining one flukes a win in their QF and meet us in the semi. Job done, we're at Wembley.

I'd like another trip to Dewsbury, it's a great little stadium and the staff and fans are really friendly (assuming they beat Thatto)

I'm happy to get an "easy" draw all the way through but, I dont see it happening.
Having said that, a home draw against any side should hold no fear.
I'm not sure that anyone will want to draw Trinity at BV.

Wembley this year is in the stars. 40 years since last time.

OK we've got step one out of the way.
Just need to beat Widnes and get the winners of Dewsbury v Halifax in the QF.
Meanwhile Bradford end up playing Hull KR in another QF.
We get winners of that tie in SF.
