Well I personally think that this is best for both. Forget whatever happened with New Years if he was or wasn’t involved. He wasn’t needed when we signed him but I thought he could have become a useful edition to the squad. I didn’t see any better from him than what we had in the youngsters In the end so I really believe this is a let off for our spending cap ultimately. The way the press are going on we’ve just lost the best player we had on our books lol. Fringe player at best for me.
Let’s hope we can now find a decent prop with the little extra money we may have now. Up the trin

Whenever I saw Gigot I thought he was borderline nutcase / genius. He was certainly a threat to us when at Les Cats. Do you know where he has gone or is his now career spiralling downwards.
There are a couple of props at Warrington we could let you have .... Akauola and Latu .... they could be useful in the ground turn style kiosks on matchday ....

Tbh I’ve never got the fuss about him and couldn’t stand when he was on TV as Wells was obsessed with him. I always preferred Escare when they both played at Catalans.

Good player on his day but for every excellent game there were a few stinkers. His temperament has always been in question and I was often glad to see his name on the team sheet for Catalans as he lost Catalans 2/3 games against us. A bit of a luxury player for me.

French rugby union, I reckon, is where he'll head. He might be quite a hit there, actually, as he has talent. Just has attitude issues. Catalans recognised that when he tried to sulk his way to a better contract.
