That's the new directives for you, don't think it was solely down to Kendal, that was deffo a red though 100%, couldn't have happened to a nicer Wigan player as well

I have to say I'm supportive of the protection they are trying to give players but that one today was ridiculous.
The player pretty much ran in to him.
It was so not late he almost got the ball.

They needed relook at the directives given to refs.

These things (new directives) usually settle down after a few games but, last night's decision was just embarrassing.

Whilst I did feel that the card for Tubby Funoa was a bit harsh I did have to bollock the wife for starting to feel sorry for Cas during the game.

Thought the referree bottled a dead set sin bin from Bentley… swinging arm to the head third man in to the tackle… then 7 mins later he makes a try saving tackle… sin Bunnings do affect the game … both ways

Great performance from Trinity. Great win, no yellow cards and no lack of biff. Perhaps the new directive is sinking in.

Think that's the first TV game I've watched this season without either a yellow or red card and tbf I thought Hicks went ok.

It would not have surprised me if Ratchford would have got sin binned for his high shot on Matty Ashurst as he went over for his try, but going off injured may have saved him a yellow card, especially after seeing some reffing decisions recently.

You don't think it might have been an 8 point try then?
