Would be great to keep him, a real gamebreaker. As well as big money and a long deal, I'd think he'd be demanding quality service.

Good to see AP showing his intent to keep him.

Couldn't blame him if he wants to test himself in the NRL and have a stint Down Under.

Hopefully, a better Hull FC 2013 may also encourage him to hang around and enjoy some good times at the club. As long as its Hull or the NRL I'll respect his decision either way.

Doubt we can and not sure spending a big percentage of the cap on a winger is the way to go.

I'd be gutted if he signed for another SL club though.

way I see it, he plays his heart out trying to attract NRL clubs, gets a good offer, goes OR he plays his heart out, wins something or gets very close and decides he wants to win things with Hull.

I heard the a while back we were planning to talk to Tom now other areas of the squad had being attended to. The stumbling block ahead though is Briscoe will only sign a contract with an NRL get out clause in it, the problem being Pearson (and rightly so) isn't prepared to break the bank for somebody that could turn around and say he has a chance in the NRL. #heard we were looking into the possibility of letting an NRL club sign him up on a five year contract but he is loaned back to us for the first two seasons.

No fact though, only rumour obviously.

Think if we offered him another 2 years he may stay. Instead of a long contract. Then if he wishes to go fair play to him. Would like to see him come back to us though

BBC Sport are quoting from Wednesdays Sportstalk. AP was very clear that he wanted Bricscoe to stay or at least delay his ambition to go down under.

Hope he takes a leaf out of Sam Tomkins book and waits a couple of years, hopefully Gaz Ellis and Scotsisname will persuade him.

Do we get any dispensation to pay him extra without affecting the salary cap to keep him in SL like Wigan did with Tomkins? Can't remember the rules around this.
