Regarding Millers perceived defensive frailties - anyone ever seen Sneyd complete a tackle.
Miller unfortunately is a victim of Radfords `grunt & bash style' & inability to improve young players, all of whom have gone backwards since
he took over. - Green? , Bowden?,Crooks?,Lineham?,& whilst Shaul hasn't regressed he's hardly improved.

Lineham has been injured or recovering from injury for practically the entire season. Crooks looked to be having serious second-season syndrome plus the well-discussed issues with his defence/physique. Green was hardly a superstar in the making under Gentle and I don't see that he's gone backwards particularly. Likewise Bowden.

Sometimes young players just don't improve. It's not always a failure of coaching.

On the flip side, Westerman and Rankin are both better this season.

Miller has had chances to prove himself. He's failed to take them. It's a shame, because I really like his attitude to the game and he does show flashes of talent. Maybe if he'd come into a side with an established, experienced half back partner things might have gone differently.

He tries hard but bless him that's all he's got. Not Radfords fault at all. Forget defense, he can't pass!

I can just see some on here saying the minute Sneyd fails (which I think is 50/50) we should have kept hold of Miller.
We made a mistake, we've paid for it, we're getting shut, we move on and hope that sneyd and Pryce works.

Standee turning thread into Radford out shocker and he is all to blame, the kid whilst trying hard just wasn't good enough.

with miller, I really wanted it to work out for him at FC. I remember we played cas away on tv end of last season and he showed signs there, which made me think 'this kid has something here'. had signs of being like a burrows, which would've been great.

but for one reason or another, he hasn't worked out here. but these things happen.

not a radders fan by no stretch, but he gave miller his chance, didn't do much wrong, but didn't do much right either.

Have you seen Bowden this year.....behind Westerman,our most improved forward.As for Lineham and Green..both suffered long injuries and was looking good in the last stages of the stages.Crooks..who knows what happend there

Shame that it's not worked out for Miller. There was genuine hope when he signed that he could be the answer to our number seven problem but it's just not happened for him.

He's had chances but unfortunately hasn't been up to it. I can barely think of a game when he's really shone for us. Widnes at home last season perhaps.

To blame Radford for Miller's failings is completely missing the point.
