| Interesting to see what they lower the ticket prices to, can't see there been much demand at twenty odd quid to watch us put a lot of points on an amateur club.

| Another training session but this time the reward is there. £15/£10/£1 for adults, OAP's and kids would be about right.

| Won't happen, But closing the south stand for this should be considered.
A good chance to try a few things out on the pitch though, give player's who aren't first choice a run out etc

| I'm strangley looking forward to this one, something i don't normally say about games against amateur clubs. At least this game is a proper competition where the outcome is decided on't pitch and not in some far flung foreign office block. Although we are unlikely to go the whole way and reach Wembley it gives our club the chance of some good recognition and making a bit of money if we can get through to the later rounds. Hammersmith will come up here full of enthusiasm and wanting to show up well on their big day out. Here's hoping for a decent game and progressing to the next round alongside a good Saturday out! Up The Fax!

| Football off tonight, no doubt it's our fault having played one game on the pitch in about 5 months.

| Will have a head over to the Town forum, no doubt they will be losing their minds and blaming us. That pitch was in an awful state before we even played a game on it, if Town had any sort of backbone they could have put pressure on the council at the same time we did to try and get them to sort the pitch out so it was fit for purpose. Now its at the point where the council know it is going to cost hundreds of thousands of pounds to sort out and they don't have the money and are willing to offload the Shay for brass tacks. Their chairman has played a blinder in this one.

| Good chance for Finn, and the fans, to take a look at the players who've hardly had any game time this season, although, without being disrespectful, quality of the opposition will make it hard to make any real judgements. If any doubt about JWH fitness wouldn't be surprised to see him miss out, especially as it will be a very heavy pitch. Quite a few with something to prove should hopefully mean there's no chance of team not taking it seriously.

| Bit of a non-event - worryingly win could have come at a big cost with what looked like serious injuries to 3 of our most important players in Crookes,Calcott and O'brien. Calcott looked easily our best forward, before his injury, lousy timing if its as bad as it looked, with Murray leaving this week. I like Inman for his enthusiasm, but his distribution from dummy half at the start of the game was awful - our attack looked loads better once O'brien came on. Difficult to make judgements on players brought in because opposition while totally committed were limited. That said thought Walters really put himself about and looks promising, also thought Olly Davies showed some nice touches. Obviously very early days in Widdops Halifax career but at the moment Keyes Jouffret and JWH would get in ahead of him for me .

| Sounds like Calcott could be a broken knee cap and Crooks a broken foot. Disaster if true for Calcott and would be his season over. Crookes would be touch and go depending on the location of the break. Not heard anything else on Obrien other than feared torn bicept. Leaves us desperatly thin on troops now before the season has even started proper. To lose 3 of our best players in a nothing game is awful luck.
