Oh thank you thats put peice at mind!
Last time i went to Salford was back in 07 on the coach, first game of season, and i cannot remember the surroundings of the stadia. All i can remember is that it was a nightmare after the game with traffic. |

All i remember is getting back to our coach and finding the tyres had been slashed. There is a carpark though at the back the Away end which is easy enough. |

Lots of on-street parking near the ground but you are taking a chance wherever you park in Salford (although it is nowhere near as bad as it used to be). Some side streets have cones on them, so try and stick to the main roads - without restrictions.
Take everything of value out of your car and remove any stickers which hint that you might not be from Salford.
Just use common sense and you'll be fine.

Oh great stuff 
Think ill pay a few quid and park in "secure" parking!
However i seem to remember the coach parking behind the away end and been stuck in a traffic jam for an hour. All swings and roundabouts in this malarky! |

Well i have a Vinyl non removable rhinos sticker on my back window.
Think i might just stay at home, watch Corrie, with the car safe in the driveway  |

Thats the one, we left the minibus there opening day 2years ago! We was stuck in traffic abit too but nothing a few cans couldn't sort |

We've used the car parks at Salford Quays in the past, they do require payment and you need to check that they'll be open in the evening when you return but you can spend a pleasant hour wandering the Lowry etc and then hop on a tram to the ground, its a five minute ride and your car is safe.
