| He was awesome tonight. He was round the legs of every Saints 3/4, and round the chest/ball carrying arm of every forward. Seemed to be involved in every tackle in the first half. What a legend.
The best of luck to him back in Oz.

| And some would still rather have had Mathew Diskin this year.

| Our best two performances of the year have come with Danny Buderus playing as a 80-minute hooker. This is not a coincidence.

That is because they have a dislike for real Aussie class - Diskin is more in their idiom - local without the natural ability of a real international standard player. There is no accounting for taste or opinion!!
It has been a pleasure to watch one of the finest players of his generation on a weekly basis - he will be missed. Hopefully Hood has noted what is required at the very highest level and he can turn the raw talent into performances on the field.

| Buderus will be heavily missed next year, his input has been without doubt a major contributing factor to last nights success.

Have said the same; most recently after last week's Warrington victory. At least one other actually stated it was a great tactical move by McDermott to [unot[/u play him for the full 80 until that penultimate match.
A waste of his talents under successive coaches.
