Whilst I am all for coaches to acknowledge the fans now and again, before / during / after games, my impression of the antics of BMD during the pre-game warm was somewhat over-the-top.

The waving and thumbs up to the fans gave the impression that he'd taken the result for granted and basically we'd had to turn up to win. Cocky and unprofessional .... And something that about 90 minutes later, came back to bite him on the backside. Who knows what effect that had on the Leeds team and if it would have been me as the opposition, the perfect incentive and motivation if one was needed.

Well all know that once the game had started that, yet again, we'd failed to come up with an effective game plan to blunt the edge of Danny Scruff's kicking game and meanwhile, Huddersfield were doing an excellent job of snuffing out Moon & Hall down the left flank.

It would be interesting to see the stats, perhaps via Tvoc, of the percentage of games we've won when facing Brough on the opposing side.

Are there any stats to see if waving and thumbs up to the fans give proportionate defeats and if so will we see a similar and linked improvement if he sticks two fingers up and mouths obscenities at the crowd before a game ?

I just got the impression that he was impressed by the turn out and wanted to show his appreciation to us.

He acknoledged the supporters for turning up in numbers, I think it's as simple as that.

I thought that was the primary reason Jimmy Lowes was brought on to the coaching staff. Surprised he's failed to deliver.

Had the 'pleasure' of sitting with the giants fans on a courtesy ticket yesterday as part of going on the pitch at halftime with my other halfs school. What utter rubbish is spouted from the stands both by home and away supporters! Nice though to say hello to Liam Sutcliffe in the tunnel at half time, great that he's getting that match day experience and hope he makes his debut soon.
