Would anyone be aggrieved if we have to play across the Pennines this year? Or is it going to be sHudds as usual?

Heard a rumor it could be Langtree Park for the semi, dunno how reliable it is though.

Cas heading to the LSV, wanted to play a HQ but was too expensive.

The RFL sent out emails yesterday saying the Leeds semi would be at Langtree Park Sat @ 2:30

according to YEP it is Langtree Park for us and Leigh Sports Village for Cas. So,2 really fair choices there then

Really surprised that Hudds not being used for one. CC semi's and internationals must be the only time some of the seats get dusted off at McAlpine/Galpharm/Next rich sponsor

We have had plenty of semi finals at Huddersfield, don't start moaning like the saints and Wigan fans about having to travel an extra 20 miles

Personally I think LSV would be an excellent choice for a semi final

For preference, I would prefer to go to Shuds, but langtree park isn't all that hard to get to or that far, much better choice than donny and looks a lot better for the TV audience than Odslum as others touted on social media.

Football grounds not being considered due to possible clashes with the start of the football league season. Of the grounds remaining, Langtree Park would be my choice by a country mile, so I'd be happy with that.

With two well supported teams & a capacity of (what?) 16000 the ground should look pretty full.
Better than 16000 at Huddersfield or Wigan.

With two sides from Yorkshire and two sides from Lancashire, one of the ties should have been in Yorkshire.

You're surprised The Tetley's Challenge cup semi finals aren't being held at The John Smiths Stadium?

When it comes down to money I would doubt that JS would have a veto clause as stadium sponsors usually have very little say after they have paid up because its mainly about PR and advertsiing in fact it would be a bit of coup for JS.

So yes I am surprised that the 2 Semi's are both in darkest Lancashire

That's a nice trip for both our sides for the semi-finals. Two grounds that will be full no doubt. Shame they weren't being played elsewhere.
