Shocking stuff by salford to announce it an hour before a semi final

Sheens on a 3 year deal. They've signed Flanagan, Ben Murdoch-Masilla, Robert Lui, Phil Joseph, Osli Krasniqi, Craig Kopzcak and Gareth O'Brien.

He's been a good, solid player for us, but I think it's probably the right time for him to make way for others. He'll do well at Salford; he's the kind of pro they need.

I thought Marwan now had a proper committee for transfers and wasn't rushing into things? He said he was doing due dilligence on the character of players, so as to not sign any more bad eggs? Robert Lui?

Been suspended a few times for assault charges according to wikipedia. But none for a few years. Sheens was his coach at West Tigers so must trust him to sign him up.

Hardly signings that make you think they're going anywhere fast but they cant be much worse then the one's signed over the previous years.

He's made some mistakes no doubt but Sheens will have him well I'm check, the old guard have been removed. Only 1 player signed this far has any real scratchy past. Not bad really when you consider who's playing in the NRL. & SL for that matter

My hate for Salford just went to 12.

He's not one of our better players. But he may well have given the most value for money. Can't imagine his wages were OK.

Crazy to join the nuthatch though.

He beat his wife up after a mad Monday knees up didn't he, forcing the NRL to suspend him for the remainder of the season and making his club side cut him loose. In PR terms alone, it's poor business. Salford are lucky they are so small time or that would be bound to be brought up.
