| I have gone for Chris Joynt. Never ever said much but boy he led by example. A terrific leader and to be honest he's missed for just his leadership qualities alone this season.

| Chris Joynt was excellent for my club.
Not held in as great asteem as backrows like Sculthorpe and Farrell, but turned up for the big games.
Twice winner of the Harry Sunderland trophy - the second coming in the 2000 Grand final, the next game was the WCC against Brisbane, which he scored the winner and also took MoM. The next competive game was in the CC 4th round against Wigan, who would have been itching to avenge the previous year's GF defeat - Guess what, man of the match again.
Always high up in the tackle count, always supporting the breaks (see wide to west) and led us through arguably the most glorious period of our history.
Oh for a guy like him in the Saints team now.

It still amazes me to this day how on gods earth Andy Hay and the like where selected ahead of him in the GB team in 1999 when Joynt as arguably the best Second Rower in Super League!!!

| As great a player at club level that Joynt was he lacked the size to make any impact at international level.

| Joynt was probably our best 2nd rower when he was in his pomp and never was out of his depth when he played the Aussies and the Kiwi's. Im convinced in the 3rd Test at The DW in 2001 (the game was tight maybe level) when Keith Senior broke through he had Joynty on his inside had he of passed to Joynt (he had a clear run to the line with nobody within a mile of him) he would have scored and put us in the lead with 15-20 mins left. Senior decided to throw the ball intenting for Paul Johnson and it ended up intouch....

He did an awesome 80 minute job as a prop that day. He must have been the Vice Captain to Andy Farrell in 2001 Ashes Series????

| I voted for Sinfield. Joynt was great but Sinfield has guided his club to success so many times with personal performances that I find it hard to not choose him.

| Sinfield for me, he's been the catalyst for so many of Leeds wins in finals whilst being surrounded by lesser players than Joynt was IMO.

| As much as I hated Andy Farrell I have to admit he was a great captain.

yes. Very surprised to see pan face get two votes on here.
Stop being fair and reasonable. No place on here for that sort of stuff.
