Not 100% sure from a legal point of view, what the new company will have to answer to. They themselves in effect had no contracts with any of the staff.

I hope the main culprit in all this Marc Green gets his comeuppance. Ruined the Christmas of man fans and players & staff and the effect on many of the players lives was huge. Imagine any of us not getting this months payment.

This 3rd administration & eventual liquidation did seem different from the previous 2. I suppose a good lawyer can usually find an angle of attack if something doesn't quite follow the standard procedure. But ultimately it's down to the RFL & Mark Green to carry the can for this one imho.

Speaking of MG, has there been any update re his own legal issues? Safeguard Security went bust first and supposedly the administrators were finding problems there.
Then the Bulls went bust and again the administrator wasn't happy.

Was Green's Bulls company actually liquidated? There was some debate at the time and the administrator wasn't happy with this either.

Cha-Lo seemed to be set up before liquidation occurred.

I guess that's down to the administrator? He announced the liquidation long before New-Co but IIRC he was still trying to sell after it happened with claims and counter claims?

I don't recall the precise dates but liquidation was announced at least a fortnight before it actually happened.

I am personally reconciled to never going again so if this is the end, so be it. Oddly, the Rugby League town I know the most people in outside of Bradford is actually Toronto. I may yet upsticks and feck off. (after St Helens that is, but bugger that)

All staff were made redundant before Chalow took over this were then employed by the new company who were under no obligation to reemploy them on same terms. They were not TUPED across which would have protected there terms and conditions.

Well according to the article someone's pursuing the newco for something. However I'd have thought it would be Green and the RFL with most to worry about.

Has Green been declared insolvent yet? I did wonder if that was on the cards given everything that happened. If so the claimants will get naff all.
