Batley have really struggled this year but shouldn't be underestimated at home. Even so this ought to be a win even with all our injuries. Apparently Fulton may yet play which is a plus.

Batley not having the best of seasons but have been a tough team to beat over the last several years, and punched well above their weight.
We should be looking to get a victory here to back up those tough previous wins.

Should be, but definitely one of those banana skins we are all too familiar with.

Baldwinson,Gaskell and Myers all named and could return.

Not a bad squad all things considered. If he plays Gaskell we'll need some cover on the bench in case he breaks down again. Also with Arundel and Myers back there's a decision to make as regards playing the two loanees from Hull.

Utterly pathetic. Same old. Turn up for big games. Don't have the back bone for lesser ugly wins. Without Lawrence we look utterly clueless.

I don't think the Ott at halfback works, no creativity. Until Gaskell is back I would have Holmes at 6, Mcgown at 1 with Taufua back at 5. Ott back on bench.

Sadly all very predictable - why can't we string 6 or 7 wins together? Seems like we win 2 or 3 matches and we know a half d effort is on its way!

I imagine they were aiming for 2nd or 3rd this year, unless they get out of this habit they can forget it.

As others have said, very disappointing and sadly very predictable.

There really does seem a mental block to these lesser games, especially away from home. I thought lessons may have been learnt around complacency and game management, it would appear not.

It makes those big wins seem like a bit of a waste of time pffft
