| Looks like a really good campaign although obviously it depends how far and wide this is promoted.
Typicall RFL though - it will be formally brought to the market on Monday a week too late!!
Huddersfield or Hull + Leeds or Wakefield could be out by then + they have missed the week leading up to the first week of the playoffs.

The timing could have been better, but it looks like a good campaign; it's about time the RFL twigged the value of promoting the extraordinary individuals who play this game as a hook for new fans.
Personally, I hope it's successful enough that they do more of the same next season; with a sponsorship deal that pays actual cash money and no iconic grounds to buy, there should be sufficient funds available for this kind of marketing to be delivered all year.

The current campaign is only designed to test the concept amongst sports fans in Manchester. If it has a measurable effect in changing perceptions of rugby league then it will be rolled out across all the league next season.
I have had a sneak preview of the viral video that goes with the campaign - it looks amazing hope it works!!
