Who could have thought that any Championship league game could attract such an attendance! It would not be possible under franchising. I expect attendances ro be well up round 1.

Doubt it will get as high as 10k, but will be highest crowd for a Leigh game at LSV, and probably highest crowd since playing Wigan in the cup (2002?), which would be a great achievement.

Great to feel the buzz around the town again about the rugby, been a while since there has been this much hype about a Leigh Rugby Season

10k is a challenge but anything over 6k is a massive achievement for a championship club. As you say, it just wouldn't happen with licensing. We've sold 1300 so far. West stand sold out and only 588 left in north stand.

Hopefully 8k can be hit.

It feels odd that we're playing a league game that means something. I'm buzzing about the game and so is the rest of the town.

Licensing disenfranchised a significant number of RL fans cast adrift in the lower leagues, hopefully the sport can re-engage with them and become the united, dynamic entity we all crave

Lets hope this doesn't turn out like our 1st game in SL in 2005 where announced ticket sales were embarrassingly way off the mark

Not just you that is buzzing, I think the entire rugby league community is looking forward to this game, highlight of the weekend without a doubt. I'm in hull and will be following this game closer than any other!
