They may have played badly but I doubt more than one of the current team would get in that one. Radlinski, Robinson, Connelly, Senior, Sullivan, etc look a tad better than this shower to me.

Again, although not as good as 1999 team I’d still take the majority of that team over the players on the field now.

The fact that people are hoping Widdop and Lorax (to name but two) will provide us with the creativity to outwit an international defence is laughable. We should withdraw from international competition until we can field better players.

Percival all injured, I'm surprised the games were as close as they were.

Morley, Farrell, etc were on that team. Connelly was superb for GB. All those mentioned were far, far better players than their equivalents in this team and even on a bad day played better too.

Sam Burgess has retired! You’re scraping the barrel in looking for excuses. Worst team ever, very little question about it. You mention Hall - last week people said he should not be selected as he was overweight, unfit, out of form, etc. Now you suggest he would be a saviour. Accept it - the team is very weak in key positions. I hanker after the days we played Farrell and Shorpe at stand off - way better than the show we have in that position now.
