PTB decision correct but Prior does it just 3 tackles later and isn’t penalised. Bizarre.

Great game. Shame it hung on a refereeing decision (even though technically correct - problem was it was inconsistent).

Has the free play rule come back in in? Play shouldn't have been brought back for a turn over leading up to Salford's 2nd try?

TBF The call to give Salford the ball back just before the Pauli Pauli try was questionable (as picked up by the commentary team) so, swings and roundabouts.

Although it was a great, close game I still feel a little short-changed by it effectively being decided by a late refereeing decision. I did call it at the time but I can’t remember the last time I saw the ball being played properly and Leeds didn’t immediately after. Overall, despite Leeds have dominance for three quarters of the game, Salford seemed to have more and better chances but just didn’t finish them off. On balance, I guess Leeds maybe deserved to edge it. Not sure about MOM though - missed a kick that lead to a try. The Salford FB didn’t make a mistake all day that I remember.

According to the ref the Salford one was a penalty because he'd surrendered.
