Quote BartonFlyer="BartonFlyer"Certainly puts it into a bit of perspective
If Wire had got their kicks today it would have been 72 - 4, so maybe 68 - 16 wasn't quite so bad after all !!!!
And I didn't hear the Hudds fans singing sloop John B!! No sense of fun
Hate to say it, but Warrington are pretty impressive at the moment'"
SMITH REVEALS WARRINGTON INSPIRATION
[iWarrington Wolves head-coach Tony Smith revealed that a visit from a wounded soldier provided the inspiration for his side's emphatic 60-4 Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth-round win over Huddersfield today.
Corporal Simon Brown, who suffered horrific facial injuries in the conflict in Afghanistan, gave a speech to the Wolves players during their preparations for the latest defence of their trophy.
"He came to speak to us in the week and I'd like to thank him for the inspiration he gave us," said Smith.
"It helped keep us grounded. He's lost sight in one eye and most of the sight in the other eye and, when you hear those sort of stories, it really comes home to roost.
"I'm not saying it was all down to Simon Brown but it was worthwhile. From that, the players had to go out and they did perform."
