Following Friday's little fracas which, according to Marshy1, was disgraceful, and no doubt according to the commentary team was "not what we want to see" (they're all wrong: it was thoroughly enjoyable), Jacob Emmitt has been charged with Grade B punching, Lee Jewitt with Grade A punching and Darrell Griffin with Grade C punching.

Jewitt's is most disappointing. He should be giving us at least a grade B, and I fear he's letting his standards drop.

I've watched it numerous times (sad person I am) and I'm very surprised Jewitt is only grade A he was still swinging when everything was calming down. Henderson was giving Wild a bit of seeing to until Griffin came over and knocked 7 bells out of him and Emmitt threw a good few and seemed to be looking after Theo after he ran in.

Perhaps the club will appeal to get Jewitt's upgraded to a B. Then we'll end up having points deducted.

As it stands, we'll probably be without Emmitt, Griffin and Gleeson (although there's no news yet) for the August 9th "start of a new era" day.

Only A and B grade charges for the Catalans players involved. Guess that means we won!

Totally agree re Jewitt John. Apparently the Italian Army & the Swiss Navy have dropped their interest in him. Come on Lee - more fire in your belly please.

Griffin seriously needs to work on his punch technique.Thought his timing was a little off as well but these are all issues that can be sorted out with a good session at Hattons Gym.
Jewitt needs to stop leading with his face although he does seem to have good punch resistance.Get a bit more head and waist movement going and he will take far less shots.Also bend your legs a little,really sit down on your punches and you will see your Knockout % rise dramatically.
All in all not a bad effort but not in the SBW class who will undoubtedly give them a few pointers next year.

If all three are banned by the disciplinary, who do we bring in for the Huddersfield, Leeds and possibly Hull FC games?

Would imagine James/Neal/Walne/Mauro would be the props? Although it would be good to see Tyson from the u20s get a game.

I think it was all part of a bigger plan to get SBW interested.
