| We are looking pretty strong in this department at the moment. I’d probably go as far as to say as a combination, the three that played tonight are the best I’ve seen at the HJ. Three absolute class players.
Hughes is the second best signing we made this year.
Currie has it all, he really does.
Westerman has been outstanding so far this season.
The work these three get through is obscene, but there’s brains behind it, it’s not all grunt. I’m loving all three.
Would you drop any of them for Westwood when fit?

I would play all 3 against the Smellies and then bring in Super Ben and Joe Philbin to rest two of them for the Hull game so they would be a bit rested for our visit to the Piedome on the Friday

All 3 have been great. Best back row in the league, contrary to what our Pie munching friends think.

| I know Coxy is a prop but he really stepped up tonight and put at least 2 crunchers in.

| The best back 3 we've had, since the Prem winning, and following season's trio of Gregory, Roberts (swoon) and Sanderson. Mobile, hard working and tough.
If I had my way, Westwood would have to "wait his turn" or (God forbid) fit in for an injury.
Other than that, a spot on the sub's bench.

| I agree, these guys have given us an extra dimension, there seems to be a seamless link between the back and forward play that makes us threatening across the pitch.
Currie is class and getting better (is doing things that will make him a player that opposition fans hate though - hair scruffles, his salute to the Cas fans when he ran his try in)
Hughes is a bit of a silent assasin, very effective, no frills.
Westerman is solid and skillfull but not quite as consistent as the other two.
Westwood has to come back onto the bench when fit.

| Westwood can be really good for us off the bench, we are always going to lose intensity when Hill and Sims leave the field. Bringing on Westwood will help counter that.

Westwood at prop for me also, helps replace loss in Dodds and reduces minutes he is playing which means we may get longer out of him.
Anyone any idea how long of a contract Ben w has left to run?

| I rate Hughes, even when he was at Wigan i thought he looked a good player but never seemed to win the hearts of the Wiganers.
But he was one of our better performers last year, does a lot of hard graft that people don't seem to notice and just keep on going.
Good signing for you guys, wish we had managed to do a deal to keep him but it wasn't to be.

| Currie, Hughes & Westerman look the epitome of the perfect RL back row. Fast, skilful, mobile, tough and pacy, and I'd agree with Lefty's comparison with the 86 back row which is high praise, and fully justified.
Of the three, Westerman has surprised me most. I was slightly dubious of his signing, always feeling he was slightly overrated but he looks like a player whose career has kick-started again. Hughes is the ginger Gary Sanderson - trojan like, reliable, consistent and earnest.
Currie? Well, I shouldn't have to reiterate my long-held, and widely voiced adoration for the guy, but I will. The guy is the complete picture, the whole package and we should be on the phone to Bob Geldof to organse Currie-Aid to raise monies for us to extend his contract for, well, life really. Lazy? Hang your heads.
Future Wire captain, future England captain, the most talented English forward in SL. By a mile. End of.
