I give you Mr Akauola, who continues to turn sophisticated laziness into an art form. Take your pick from the two versions of the antipodean Rip van Winkle; the bench-dweller who turns up for inept 20 minute guess star appearances or the invisible man who starts games and dissapears from view faster than a Scotsman at an England world cup party.
I'm no Roberts fan, and I'm not yet convinced by BMM but Akauola looks ready to take his place in the hall of fame of quota grabbers who only break sweat when their missus hits the Trafford Centre.)

I cannot give Morrisseyisawire an argument. Not one of Pricey's signings and I don't think he would have been too. Not in the Currier class for laziness but knocking on his door.

| Bob Jackson, Les Boyd, Duane Mann, Gary Mercer, Danny Nutley ..... the list goes on of overseas players who displayed more of a work ethic putting their socks on than Mr A has so far. Not only lazy and a waste of money but lazy and a liability in defence and to his teammates.
I don't know what duration contract he is on, but I'd rather sandpaper my dangly bits then dunk them in salt than watch him beyond 2018.

Disappointing result personally as I backed your team on our prediction comp, but on the bright side your post, it's cheered us up no end

| Not sure if he is lazy or just no stamina. He's like a firework - bit of anticipation, an explosion, bit of fizz then gone and forgotten.
Is he the last of the Smith signings? Let's show him romanticised videos of antipodean life in the hope he develops the pang too.

| I think the highlight mini discs of our recent antipodean mega stars must be getting Hollywood style editing & special effect additions to dupe our club into parting with money.

thats a bit harsh...
Asotasi wasnt a raw just turned 26 year old relatively low paid front rower when he came to us.
nor did you ever find Asotasi backing up midfiled breaks to support half backs and score under the post.
nor did we see Asotasi put some decent shots on opposition forwards causing them to spill the ball.
nor did we ever see Asotasi do more than 20 minutes...
Asotasi was a former test player on a fortune who was expected to do something.
nothing was ever expected of Akuola he hasnt been a roaring success...thats true..... but lets be honest Dom Crosby and George king havent done anything worth dropping Akuola for.
I prefer Wires 71 idea that he possibly has no Stamina... if he was Lazy he wouldnt have completed the tackle on the winger that made the midfield break and was just ankle tackled by clarke....if he was lazy that would have been a try...
hes not one of our immediate problems

A pack without depth is the highest priority.
We can win games with average or poor form backs when the pack dominates.

the pack didnt dominate that game last night...
yet if we had more invention than poor last tackle bombs..we win that game
if we have a decent goal kicker we win that game
if we had half back that can control a game we at least draw that game.
if we had a poor backs instead of Charnley we loose by a bigger margin.....its that simple.
I dont get your continued banging on about pack this pack that when we have the two worst half backs in a lifetime of watching Wire.
I swear to god I am close to tears every time the ref puts his hand up for fifth tackle...
Jesus the ball ended up in Toby kings hands and Akuolas hands last night on the last tackle....
like I say he's no world beater nor is he on world beater money but he's years off hitting his prime...

So in summary You want us to stop complaining about forwards but it ok to complain about half backs

Our last 3 plays in the attacking 20 are very poor.

Some lads may relate to that....
Sita is impact not front line for me but it does show
the lack of quality we have.i was more disappointed
In hill and Crosby last night against a very average
Wigan pack.
