Wether he is good or not is not the issue.

Even if we took him on loan we would have ex fans going around town telling folk how we are effectively Wigan Reserves.

Last year we had Nash on loan, this is a new to RL intl ru player who has not yet played a game for Wigan so if it happens and if selected his RL debut would be for Leigh RLFC

He'll get shown up defensively and fitness wise, he's not used to running, tackling and driving the ball for 80 minutes.

He's used to plodding about with his hands in his pockets lying on another fatty waiting for a penalty so he can have a 5 minute rest while the scrum half ponces about looking good while he kicks a penalty.

'he's going to be an outstanding attacking threat' is what people keep saying.

Not if he's knackered he's not.

I thought this owd pony had been put to bed by now , as Budgie says it is getting boring , Powell CANNOT come to Leigh as a DC ,he is to old , but can come on loan ,its up to Paul R how long he comes for , as Mo said , it could be on a season long loan , i dont know ,but we wont be flooded by DCs , i have every faith in Paul R.
