So we are now seeing the player drain as Super League clubs feed off our best players once again. We’re will that leave us next year. Also how good a team of ex Leigh players that play in SL now could you put together.

The problem leigh have had is you got promoted when you shouldnt of and you wearnt ready and if your honest didnt deserve it henceyou have struggled but the few players that has stood out will move on so now it just puts you back a year or 2.

Who did deserve it? and would they have survived in Superleague? And if they did ,to who's expense? BTW - It's easy now to come on here spouting that $h!t knowing you are safe. Good day Sunshine.

Leigh didnt deserve it you was a mid table championship team featherstone or toulouse deserved it esp featherstone they where the ones who got to million pound game.i was actually saying its put you back and not done the club any favours.there be more players leaving i would assume too which doesnt help you..but if you want to be like that about it im glad you came up made our job easier having you there.

Leigh had won 4 out of 4 when they were admitted. What happened the season before is irrelevant. I would have preferred it if all championship clubs had refused to accept the invitation,and let superleague sought their own mess out. No team in the championship was superleague ready,but now it seems like folk are coming out of the woodwork now preaching $h!t3, because they know Leigh are down. Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it? BTW - It is NOT officially confirmed yet what the structure will be next season,but some folk can't wait to spout off thinking they know it all. If Leigh had won 7 or 8 games this season, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

But teams where more ready than yous the season before does matter cis its the season before when you get promoted anyway dohh.no nothing is confirmed if you win what 6 games out of ya last what 8 or 9 games then you may stay up and if that happens good luck to ya.i actually felt for the club the rfl did you no favours you would of been in a better postion to rightfully earn a place now had you not been promoted as othi thread suggests you will lose your better players , players you may of well kept.never mind not like your use to spending more than a year in sl

Leigh need new clientele.

We have lost average SL players and still living in the past in regards to most.

Fresh eyes and fresh legs will do leigh no harm. Good luck to the players who have got new clubs.

Even the players we were linked with now are staying put , apparently Danny Richardson is staying with Cas next season , can’t blame him though , we will probably get the half back from a lower championship Club , unless Mo knows something else .

Regardless of whether we can stay in SL or we get relegated I doubt we'll be able to attract a good lot of strong calibre players either way.

I've commented about how the 2020 season was shaping up to be a great ding-dong between us, Fev and TO but we can only dream of what might have been.

I fully expect one of those two to be promoted and then we can get back to a championship where it is hopefully a bit more unpredictable, wherein the one who didn't make it to SL dominates the league and the rest of us can scrap it up in competitive matches at nice grounds, with cheaper prices and better food/beer and surrounding pubs.

Or the 2022 season will be curtailed because everyone will be falling down with winter flu and we'll be having the same discussions all over again.

Or does it? I’m not sure all has been stated yet. Championship declined to play and now they are playing want everything back to normal. They wanted sod all only furloughed when the going was tough now they want SL.
