HKR lose the derby tonight then they make up the 4th SL M8 club with Giants,Salford,Leeds - plus Leyth & London qualified from championship.

Sunday - Fax v Feath,an awful lot riding on this one,also Batley v London,the Broncs have nowt to play for now which should help the Gallant Youths,who have to win.

Wouldn't mind going back to Feath,first time since Buddies Cup triumph,plus stadium is in good nick now apparently,not to mention coming up against Sharpy.

Lets just hope the players don't go into the middle 8's over confident. We've struggled in the past against teams like Batley in the challenge cup and that was in the years when we were riding high in the league.

That's a massive danger to be honest, There has been very little to suggest we are going to have a easy time. That said the middle 8's are a big opportunity to get their act together, I don't even want to think about the consequences of failure , it's to dire to contemplate.

I just hope we don't have any involvement in the million pound game. Our performance in one off games that matter is simply diabolical. Plus I'd be worries Leigh would just bully us

We have a good, tough set of forwards this season, but are short on pace. The bottom 4 of SL are completely familiar with the pace of a SL contest. We Championship teams have to try to up the ante considerably, to match that SL intensity.

You should be safe but, that said, the odd 'one off' game........................

On current form we are definitely going for the mpg.

The teams we will play mean we will be away from home for 4 games which is a negative for us.

We have to beat all 4 championship teams and one of
Leeds who have found some real form
Hkr who beat us last week
Salford where we Gita lucky win but seem to have more spirit than we do and have won some games.

On current form WE WILL BE IN THE MPG.
