He left the pitch pretty early and never returned. Anyone know what happened?

Sounded as though he had gone in to the game with a leg injury from radio commentary

I'm guessing he very nearly didn't play as he spent the majority of the warm discussing something with the physio and team doctor. As it was he managed around 30 mins and I'd say it was precaution to keep him off as the game was done and dusted.

Not sure, seemed to be limping as he went off.

Rumour has it that he had to take a very important phone call from OZ

He limped off during the warm up and went straight down the tunnel, to return with the physio and doctor onto the excercise bike.

He then ran a bit and started the game, only to go off very quickly and not return.

Not the end of the world with Barrow up next.
