Haven't seen much of Wigan so far this year and was just wondering how Lauaki is getting on?
I always expected a little more from him at Hull but unfortunately he didn't quite deliver (barring one or two games).
Also, has his discipline improved, as he used to give away quite a lot of penalties for us?

He hasn't given away too many penalties that I can think of. He has been really impressive so far. He was getting a bit hot headed yesterday and retaliated a few times when Catalans were being a bit dirty in the tackle, but only a bit of shoving, but then he ran 25 yards to get involved in a bit of pushing and shoving which resulted in him being substituted.

He's only given one penalty away so far and that was for hitting Ryan bailey

he manages to win lots of penaltys aswell cause other teams are trying to wind him up but its not working. He's been a great signing so far, good defence and gets through enough in attack, my only issue is that he doesn't run hard enough or drive hard enough in the tackle but the upside of that is that he gets a quick play of the ball.
Totally different player that I ever saw play for Hull. Wane is getting the best out of him.

He's only given away two penalties in his Wigan career. Only missed one tackle and only made one error. He's been excellent. His go forward has got better every week. So far so good with Lauaki. Very impressed.

I could never decide whether he just wasn't as good as I was expecting or if it was down to the coaching, because at times he was great, but most of the time probably below average. Judging by the comments from you guys, it must have been our coaching!
To be honest, I had a feeling he would play better at Wigan. Now I'm quite looking forward to seeing what he can really do.

Shows how much a player can change under a good coach with the right systems. Agar was never going to get the best out of him.

I've been really impressed with him after being under whelmed when he was announced as a new signing, if he continues they way he started he will be seen as an integral part of the team and I didn't expect I'd back saying that 2 months ago.

Thought he was supposed to be lazy? Works as hard as any forward in our side, seemed to be taking the ball up at least once in every set whilst he was on the field. Nice bit of work as a fullback yesterday as well!

Well so far he's made me eat my words. I must admit when we signed him, I (and quite a few others on here) criticized the coaching staff.

They obviously saw something we couldn't in him (tht's why they are paid the big bucks I suppose).

I always liked the signing of Lauaki and defended it from the start. He adds something different to the team and to the forwards which we have lacked in our pack in previous seasons. With Lauaki and Hock back we have much more of a X factor in the forwards and much more line breaking and offloading potential.

Not actually seen a game yet but sounds good, been no complaints on here, which is perculiar...

Hopefully he can keep it up.
