For some Wigan fans a match is 75 mins long regardless of opposition, performance, scoreline, attendance. The worst I've seen in a long time was the Good Friday last minute win (Faz Try), just prior to that Saints drop the ball out under the posts and the cameras picked up streams of fans outside the stadium walking towards the canal.
This was Good Friday, full house, Wigan trailing 22-24 but were pressing for the winner with a few minutes to go. If you will leave a game like that, you'll leave any game (sadly).

I always stay to the end despite sometimes when it's like purgatory waiting for the final hooter to put me out of my misery if we [iare [/igoing to lose thinking I'd be better off making a start on the 40 odd mile journey home.
I think the last minute wins, rare events though they are, make up for the rest suffering! |

We had one at home not that long ago last season against Bradford when Tuson burst through with seconds to go to win it. That one seemed more important as we were coming off the back of a couple of losses. |

Different game but same scenario at LP tonight a woman at the side of me decided to leave with 9 minutes on the clock at 10-10. Missed one of the most magnificent victories in recent times from a young under strength side.

the struggles of a lot of traffic trying to leave a stadium is a problem charlie the leigh support defiantly does not know. |
