I'll start by saying that this isn't a knock at Farrimond. He's a young kid - the future is his & he looks to be a special talent.
That being said, for what we need for this season - his injury might be a bit of a blessing in disguise for the side. If we can get Miski and Marshall back, then that side last night - with Keighran at 6 and Eckersley at centre, looked balanced and capable.
Get one, or two of the wingers back, keep the rest the same and I can see us building confidence.
Thompson has been in and out of the side recently as well. I wonder if he's not 100% and keeps getting niggles. Along with the rest, he hasn't been quite himself since he came back from a longer period out.
We looked good in that 2nd half. Keighran at 6 looked a good fit. When he played there previously he looked good. Eckersley looked a threat every time he got the ball.
Another massive for AK is his goal kicking. Anyone know what his accuracy percentage is. It must be very, very high. Last night his goal kicking was excellent.
