Saw it yesterday as well. Jamie Langley has commented on how good it is with th exposure it gets the game as a whole not just us as a club, he was very impressed and wishes the game got more exposure like this.

Why? Are TV adverts banned for lower league games?

I can't see the club sustaining that part of its marketing strategy on a Championship income; no other SL clubs are doing it on a SL income, so that seems a reasonable assumption to make.

I'd like to see the club put the adverts on Wildcats TV

True, I suppose. But it would be nice for other clubs, not just Wakey, to do such marketing to try and raise the profile of the Championships & rugby league as a whole.

Other clubs are free to do so; Wakefield may be shouldering the full burden of publicising RL in West Yorkshire on prime time TV at present, but there's nothing stopping other clubs getting involved.
