The Challenge Cup draw for the 5th round takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 24th March) at 6.30 pm. Salford, Hull FC, Hull KR and ourselves enter at this stage so the names in the hat are:

Obviously we are going to either get Hull FC or Bradford as we always seem to, but if you could choose, who would it be??

Personally I'd quite like to see Dewsbury come to Belle Vue, hopefully giving us a bit of a chance to gain some confidence without it being the easiest game in the world. Plus they have a couple of our old boys and Morrison as coach.

We need to avoid Leigh, Bradford, Halifax and Fev as they would all beat us at the moment and the effect of that loss would not be good.

Batley at their place would also be tough.
John Kear was almost dribbling into the radio yesterday at the thought of getting one of his old clubs at their place.

For me, we need a home draw and then we should hopefully make it into the next round.

Lower division clubs all the way to Wembley and then beat Leeds in the final

I know you aren't flying high but you could beat Leigh, probably beat Bradford and absolutely definitely beat anyone else in the championship.

In that list the only teams I'm confident of beating are Leigh Miners, York, Hunslet and Swinton. The rest however,is another matter.

Leigh would probably wipe the floor with us and our form against Bradford is atrocious.

May as well get some practice in, Bradford away for me.

I'd pick Fev as a nice local derby, maybe at their place, fill their new stand. Or maybe Halifax at the Shay, walking distance for me, if you don't mind a pitch that more mud/sand than grass.

I'd take anyone. It's about time teams started worrying about drawing Wakefield Trinity. This team and the players in it are capable of far far better than what they are producing. It's not that long ago that we played Salford off the park at home, smashed Hull at home and away (granted one was a pre season friendly) and of course walloped Hull KR for 40 odd. The rest are from a league below or even further down so should be beaten comfortably. Apologies if I'm being too positive after yesterday but I'm looking at the team as a whole since Webster took over and I think we have improved. I can't see anything there in that list of teams to worry me at all.

I'd pick leigh miners Rangers, at Leigh,they could then give up home advantage and play it in Perpignan.
