Just a thought but a couple of years ago following that memorable final match against Cas many trinity supporters were dismayed that the promising hat-trick scoring left wing flyer Liam kay was allowed to leave the club for the sake of the price of a sack of taties.
Had he stayed would we now be witnessing the weekly exciting actions of Tom Johnstone, or would HE have been allowed to leave to one of our rivals?
The prospect of them occupying both wing berths could have been well worth witnessing.

They both play on the left so I'd choose Johnstone if I had to choose but it would have been nice to see them playing.

I'd like them both in the squad. Wasn't Kay a six also? Perhaps he could operate in the centres.

Correct. Liam was a quick player with a certain versatility. Tom Johnstone is pure class and although he will have his bad days will IMHO go on to be a super star paleyer.

Johnstone over Kay definately. But i also think Kay could have been doing every bit as well as BJB if not better and for an awful lot less coin. He'd have no problem switching wings.

Although Liam did score 4 tries against our nearest and dearest which will be remembered for a few years yet, he didn't play too much for us so no contest, Johnstone everyday.

Johnstone over Kay, but Kay over BJB any day of the week.

Thats why kay is playing in the championship! and Bjb is playing in super league

If Liam Kay was good he would be playing in super league .BJB is one of reasons we are not in the bottom four about time people gave him a break
