Tonight's results mean we can go third by beating St Helens but the fact that we don't need to beat St Helens to finish 4th and get 4 home games could lead to complacency. As I reckon it losing by more than 15pts will push us down to 5th .

The extra home game would be nice but we've lost to all the top teams except Salford who proved they can in the cup.

Getting 3rd won't be any good unless we keep winning in the 8.

The important thing is the two points this Sunday, as that would put us 7pts clear of Shudds before the playoffs start & 5 in front of 6th place Stains. We could finish the season in a no worst position than 6th which could mean a marquee signing for next season even with results not all going our way.
We have lost to the top 3 home & away but each time we have put in one good performance against them and been unlucky with our home games. I really don`t think Wakey fear any team in the playoffs.

getting 3-4 will help with the income as will fining higher than 8th in the 8s, time to have a different mind set now we must win at all cost top 4 and a semi final place would be a dream but it s there for the taking, boy would that shut a few up

Let's just go all out to beat St Helens and finish 3rd. It's nice to know a loss by not much still get's us 4th place but let's just go for it

Understandable under the circumstances, but lets hope the team's mindset is far more focused, there are 2 very valuable points at stake here going towards the final placings.

The way I see it we are now well and truly amongst the so called big boys.

The game tomorrow against Saints will shortly be followed by seven games of perhaps even higher intensity.

Saints will be a marker on how we go in the super 8's . A win all the way for me and by as many points as possible,

I know it optimistic but, we are in with a real chance of making the top 4 after the super 8's and any points we can get will help us get there.
We have to be aiming for the big prize and not just hoping for a top 4 finish.

If ANY players of the coaching staff start thinking we can afford to lose, we probably will.

Besides, if we have any ambition, other than wanting to secure an extra home game, beating "lower ranked" clubs on our own patch is an absolute must.

In theory, Saints at home is an "easy" game
