| Unfortunately our foundation sides both went down to Saints with the 16's losing 50-0 and the 15's going down 28-16.

| Jack Briscoe stood out for me and scored some nice trys. Also thought Newton and Green put in a good shift, extra bonus towards the end with a bit of biff between the props

Jack Briscoe for the second week running for me. Comes inside for the ball, pace to burn, good kick returns, solid defence, safe under the bomb and certainly knows how to score a try. Seems a natural FB to me.
Thought Green, Newton and Kent always looked dangerous.

| Ryan Spouse was great off the bench and I like the progress that Pearce is making his tackling has improved a lot! Ben Crooks score a great try and made some good breaks and Lee Williams always impresses me although he was quiet at times today. Green had a great game and Kent played well and ran some good lines Jack Briscoe was the star though returning looose ball and kicks so well.
For the older readers Ben Karalius (Vince the wild bull of the pampas's great grand son) and Connar Dwyer the nephew of the great Saints Hooker lined up for the opposition.

Ben is going to be a cracking player as he develops , I can see nothing but big things for him as he is possibly the best youngster I have seen for some time and pearce will definately be 1st team at some point

What are thoughts on Newton? Do you think Green, Kent and Cunningham are close?

Craig Hall and Ste Tyrer were by far the best players I had seen playing at 20's level and they both struggled with the transition and both now look as though they are NL standard players.
